I need to get my car running again and I was told by JWT that I need to get a GTI-R MAF instead of a the stock SR20DE MAF and I need to have the ECU reprogrammed for the stock SR20 02 Sensor. I figure if Im gonna spend the cash to reprogram the ECU for the 02 Sensor that I might as well go ahead and do an MAF, injector, turbo upgrade at the same time. Seeing as how I am really low on cash because of this GTI-R upgrade and wont have the money to do the pricey upgrade of ECU Reprogramming and buying all those other parts, would it be possible to swap in the stock SR20 injectors and fuel rail, disconnect the JWT resistors, set the timing to 15, put the stock SR20 ECU in and drive it that way until I get the cash to do the upgrade? I read in a previous post that you could use a gti-r ecu on a blue bird with the gti-r fuel rail and injectors and MAF so, Im thinking why couldnt you down grade?

i dont know how strapped for cash you are right now, but you could buy the maf, and inj, and go ahead and reprog the ecu for them, but wait and upgrade the turbo when you have the $$$.??

i wouldnt want to run 259cc inj on a GTIR motor

Nevermind the injectors tips on the sr20de fuel rail are much larger than the gti-rs
