K so I just had a 2.25" crush bent system put on my car with a universal dtm style muffler. It sounds OK I guess, but above 2500rpm it's sounds like a damn civic. Pretty darn raspy, and too loud too. What will a resonator do for me? Quiet it down? Reduce the raspiness? Both? I didn't pay much for it, so I'd be ok with paying for a resonator to get installed. Let me know what you guys think.

I wasn't toooo impressed with my exhaust when I was done with it. Yeah, it sounds kinda like a Honda, but hell it will beat one though and that's all that matters to me.

I just had a flange welded on to my piping so I can switch between my stock muffler and my Magnaflow muffler (due to being pulled over for a loud ass exaust, in which I am proud of since it's my baby).

So what it comes down to is, don't worry about what the sound is, it's the power that matters......unless you like the sound over power, it's up to you.
