: What you all have been waiting for.....
Loe Lyf 04-25-2003, 12:20 AM I think I've kept the suspense going long enough, so I'll show you what 7 months did to my NX.
Please note....I still have to put the side skirts on, as well as all the interior pieces and door rubbers.
In a few months, an MS Design rear lip and spoiler will be added.
Modifications include:
Custom Ground Designs (Black Widow) Integra front bumper with 88-91 Honda Civic turn signals
Shaved spoiler, washer nozzles front and back, emblems.
6 coat base, 3 coats clear 1998 Dupont Volvo Yellow

CanadianG 04-25-2003, 01:04 AM Dave, I like it already. The skirts will definately finish it
You not planing to put a spoiler on?
metro_se-r 04-25-2003, 01:32 AM is that a Honda? :o
NoClassic 04-25-2003, 01:53 AM Liked it better before the "kit", but to each his own.
AztekSE-R 04-25-2003, 02:18 AM looks nice
really dont care for the front. to boxy for me
Fonque 04-25-2003, 02:28 AM yeah, we need more kitted NXen rolling around, congrats that took some balls to put together,
but i personally dont car for that front end either, it doesnt fit the curvy lines of the egg
but i give you much props for puttign that together
DET-PRIMERA 04-25-2003, 02:35 AM You ever tried to put a square into a round hole,ya its kinda like that. :(
Serban 04-25-2003, 02:54 AM That front bumper looks too big for the rest of the car...kinda makes the car look like it has down syndrome. But you did a good job on trying to make it look different.
blackNX2k 04-25-2003, 03:20 AM as of now i dont like the front but that might be because it doesnt flow with the rest of the body, the sideskirts will probally make it look much better though
AztekSE-R 04-25-2003, 03:38 AM http://www.spoilers.com/images/autos2/mx3358f.jpg
i think something like that would have looked ok not that yours is really really bad or anything
SeenSense 04-25-2003, 03:49 AM I don't know....Maybe change the rims, and you will get better responses.....
Cool! Great to have a dent and rust-free car, isn't it? :D
Now go to Krown and get that thing rustproofed!!
James
Loe Lyf 04-25-2003, 06:55 AM Yeah, the front needs some getting used to, but when the skirts go on and the MS Design rear lip is installed, I think it will take off so much attention to the front. If the front didn't have those stupid vents on the side, I don't think it would be that aggressive. I also paid only $600CDN for the bumper and the molding of the bumper.
At least I now have room for an intercooler!:D
Thanks for the comments.

I plan on powdercoating the rims white in a few weeks. Hopefully that will help a bit. I only paid $600CDN for the rims with brand new 205/40/17 tires.
Do you know a good place for powercoating? I was thinking about doing a valve cover, now that I have an extra.
SE-Rican 04-25-2003, 08:35 AM I like the color very much. I honestly like the wheels to. I am not feeling the fron bumper much. Is it difficult to put the OEM bumper back on?
Loe Lyf 04-25-2003, 08:35 AM email jason@deln.on.ca for info. He does a really good job. The only problem I see is the distance for you. He's in Kitchener. He does it on the side, so I'm not sure if he can accommidate you.
Mention to him I recommended you and maybe he can help you out a bit.

Thanks! The stock bumper is still on the car, and the bodykit was molded to the crease line on the stock bumper.
True, that is a bit far for me. Thanks for the info though. If I can't find a place in Kingston, maybe I'll see about couriering it out there or something.
