Chrissy 10-17-2001, 10:16 PM What flaws did the 95 200SX SE-Rs have that the others did not? I think I remember hearing something about this. Just wanna make sure I am not dreaming. Thanx

Chrissy 10-18-2001, 06:56 AM So no mechanical flaws?
MarkSR20 10-18-2001, 07:55 AM No, the only mechanical flaws in a stock SR20DE in the B14 were; Some had bad cams. The motors showed 200 readings or over on each cylinder when they were tested. But that was a few of the 96's. But that is pretty much all you have to look for. Correct me if I am wrong guys!

eric96ser 10-18-2001, 08:26 AM The '95s has a few more recalls, but that's to be expected with a new chassis. The EGR had the wrong tube, but most of these have been fixed. The only way to tell the car is a '95, is by the flat black, or unpainted, mirrors and door handles.
enjoyDride 10-18-2001, 11:22 AM It doesn't have the 91-94 body.... http://www.sr20deforum.com/NonCGI/biggrin.gif J/K

spdracerUT 10-18-2001, 06:31 PM There were recalls for the EGR-BPT valve/tube or something and windshield wiper seal. They should be in the se-r.net archives somewhere if you want to learn more.

Chrissy 10-18-2001, 10:12 PM 95s were really low port?? So then swapping cams would do no good...
