I gather you mean at the drag strip. What I do is drop the front tire pressure to 20-25 and slip clutch launch at around 3600-4000rpms. It worked most of the time but everyonce and a while I would let the clutch out to fast and the tires would spinn. All I can say is pratice and see what works best.

I usually let it fly about 3.5k but sometimes I get a little anxious and dump it about 5k :-( but good thing I have a perf. clutch

Hi, I was just wondering what RPMs do you 98+s launch at since we have no VLSD. What techniques work best for you. I just got ES mm/inserts and lower cntrl arm busings and want to see how the wheel hop is and get the best launch. Thanks.
