Hi guys;

I have a lead on a 91 G20, manual, cloth, no sunroof, all stock, mint condition, 120k miles. It was garaged all its life, has no rust, and perfect paint. All maintnance was done by its one and only adult owner at the dealer.

This info was relayed by the seller, I havn't seen or drove it yet, but will be soon. HERE ARE THE SELLERS PICS (http://community.webshots.com/album/71272474qzdIvq)

I've test driven a few classic Sentra SE-R's in my area, but they are all dirty, beaten on, and overpriced. I loved their awesome pickup, but I don't think the G20 will be able to match it.

I drove a 2001 Sentra SE-L with the sr20de; will the G20 drive similar to that? (The SE-L had very good pickup)

What should I look for when I go drive it? He wants about $3,500 for it, is this too much? Again, he says it is perfect and needs nothing. Haggling advice?

Also, I have about $6000 to spend: is this enough to get the G20 and have it turboed or do a bluebird swap? What is cheaper/better?

1) The g20 is a great car. Turbo it and make a great sleeper out of it! If it's in such good condition you can't consider it anything less than a steal!

Damn, thats alot of loot that he's asking.
I would try to talk him down some.

but i tell you this....ONCE YOU DRIVE IT YOU WIL LOVE IT.

Dont even compare it to an SE-L. The suspension is totally different. Its an Altima SE underneath. The suspension is beyond belief. The gearing in the tranny is different too. It should pick up nicely but nothing like "OH MY GOD!!" The gears are longer. I dont even use 5th gear in my 93 G20.

But how does the car look from the pics? He was asking 3.5k because KBB and NADA had it listed around there for a car in 'excellent condition'.
