Drive by wire and wiring? I would like to see him get it rolling. And how did he fabricate motor mounts? Seems like a lot of work for a swap.

I think if you spilled oil on top of the motor, it wouldn't leak through the bottom.

Yo that is some crazy shit props to that guy but I would have stuck with an sr20.

I've seen the car in person at the beginning of May. The swap is incredibly well done, looks so big in the engine bay! The motor mounts are all custom, adapted to the NX2000 frame. They even used the Spec V gauge cluster!

This is really incredible, he dynoed 150whp, so he should do 14.5, 14.6 times at the track. I'm going with him at the track on June 15th!

I know he's from Quebec City, but will he be at any NP club meets in Montreal? I hope to make a few, once my DET swap is done. I'd like to see the car in person. Very curious.

and it run wonderfull on the road and ind 3 or 4 weeks I'll be on the PONT-ROUGE track to see my E.T.

I give him props for tryin somthin different but you could get a low mileage sr20 for like 400-700 and spend like 2000.00 or so on a turbo kit and kill that 2.5 liter and not have to think twice about your internals.

And with a good driver and bolt ons you could do a mid 14 1/4 with a n/a sr20. I run a 14.00 at 103 and i suck at drag racing and spin the tires all over the place at 6psi un-tuned. If i could hook up that would easily be a 13.7 or quicker. And thats why i roadrace and auto-x.

yeah I know for the $ I put in maybe a sr20det have coulb be a bethere choice but I've got a great deal on all the part!! the engin inclued! and my sr20de was deadly dead!!

and I think that de q25de is a engin whit a great future!!

Nope, not really. I'm just curious to see it in person, see how you did the little things, like motor mounts, wiring and switching from a rod to cable shifter.

I think it's very cool that you even attempted the swap in the first place, that took a lot of nerve. I'm pretty certain no one else has done this.

yeah no prob insane imports!!

for the engin and all the parts of the specV I had put a total of
4500$ can

that means the engin the tranny the cpu the shifter the cardan the closter the fuel pump that I haven't put in and many other like disk brake and sound system etc!!

Wow that is a good deal. The install looks very clean and its cool you put the spec v gauge cluster in.

yes it's the specV gauge cluster!!

but the only prob with that swap is
#1:the cardan are 1/2 of my nx and the other 1/2 of the specV so if it broke it will cost 2 cardan for the price of one!!
#2:when I turn to left the puley are to close of the frame so its rubing on the frame but now with all the time the puley had made there way !!
