I'm sure most of you remember my bitching about place racing's service. Anyway, I finally got my lower tube back. It does look very good after being sandblasted and re-powdercoated. I installed it Saturday morning.
Fit: Not bad. If only I could rebend the tubes slightly... I would cut the hole to the top right about 0.5" from the template (standing at the front bumper). But I didn't have to cut the lower tube at all as I've heard some people do. The air temp sensor fit fine.
Results: Wow! I've been running the warm-air setup for the past month. It was an improvement over stock, but not much. With the resonance effect, wow is all I can say. The cams and CAI really change this car.
