are fwd and rwd sr20 cams the same just wondering.

Maybe the s13's but not the s14's cause of there VVL type thing

i heard once that the rwd cams are alittle different from fwd.....something about the intake cam being longer or something...im noy sure

Thecam sprocket keys are slightly different from what i heard but will work. I would do a search on it though.

Here is the answer. The FWD cams will work in the S13 RWD motor, but only the S13 RWD intake cam will work in the FWD motor. The RWD exhaust cam does not work because it does not have the notch for the distributer.

The S14 RWD cams do not work in the FWD motor. The FWD exhaust cam will work in the S14 RWD motor. Thats it.
