well i was told to rework my question and may get all the help that i will need! so here goes, the GTIR AWD has arrived and the shop is having a little problem for they don't have the wiring book for it and this is the first attempt. after a talk with them we decided to try gather more info. before doing anything. we know to keep the SR20DE tranny, but what we want to know is the wiring configurations and any modifications to the engine mount or anything in that matter. so please help because this is our first attempt like i said and very excited can't wait to see it run.
PM me or send any wire config. to vkdang@shaw.ca
thanks again

ok i have the same motor in my 91 se-r . Ok u will need to keep the nx200 wire harness as that is what u will be using the pulsar one wont work. U wire up every thing just the same as u wire a regular sr20de motor. all the plugs plug up on the harness of the nx and the se-r. Make sure when u are wiring it up, dont forget to plug in the plug on the harness that goes into the back of the dash. This plus is close to the ecu plug. if u dont u wont get a check engine light when u turn the ignition and the car wont start. i used all the sensors of the pulsar except for the temp sensor as mine was broken.Whether u use the pulsar ecu or the nx ecu the car sould start but it will idle funny and tend to shut off at time because its cold. Once it reaches operating temp the car will start to idle better ( still puzzled to why this happends). before it warms up u cant step on the throttle and start reving it or it will shut off it has to warm up first. Hmm u were asking about any modifications that has to be made lets see . In the se r i assum its the same in the nx the mounts of the pulsar wont work as they ar bigger especially the passenger side it wont bolt up. u have to use all the snx mounts. next u will have to shave the bottom of the block where it sits on the cross member or cut out a piece of the memeber. this allows the engine to sit properly in the bay.thats basically all the mods i did o and another thing. the engine comes with a resistor pack for the injectors if u dont have it not to worry it will work without it, ur car will run a little. just wire the injectors straight on the harness like the de injectors were wired. Now if u do have it this is how u wire it into the harness. If u look carfuly at the harness for the injectors, each injector has its own power source. the resistor pack only needs one power source. so what u can do is tie all those power sources together and et one 12 volt source or just use one of he 12 volt source. this then goes to the ballast resistor resistor pack the power wire is a white wire. now u have 4 wires still coming from the resistor pack. these wires now take the place of the power source to the injectors. the wire on the injector is ran pack to thae harness like the regular de injectors
.Ok for the 02 sensor its recomended that u use the japspec 02 sensor if ur using the japanese ecu as it reads different but u can the US spec one it takes a longer time to get a reading when the car just starts do.The car has to be at operating temperature to actually see a reading on ur air/fuel gauge.Unlike if ur using a US computer with a US 02 sensor it comes on right away...well thats basically it if u have any troubles just holla. As for a wiring diagram i dont think there is any. Its just the same way u wire a DE its basically the same way u wire a GTIR with just minor alterations and i explained it earlier. Oh and as for fueling u can still use the nx fule pump for 10 psi mine was 8 do any hire u better change the fuel pump. Remeber after u finish wiring up the motor and u turn the ignition and the check engine light doent come on something isnt wired properly..good luck laterz

one more thing u need the nx fly wheel the pulsar one wont work , its too big. u need to drill out the nx flyweel holes so the the bolts from pulsar flywheel can fit through it.

hay blingdogg! thanks alot. with this info. i'm sure we can start to work on it. so it sound like as long as the shop hand the manul for my nx2k, they should not have any problems.
it is great relief to your input, highly appreciated!
thanks again
