I bolted mine up for testing purposes only. Was hoping to hit the dyno, but didn't get a chance to. I'll have to wait another couple weeks to head back. But anyways, to the test pipe....
Definite improvement in mid range power. I can't tell a difference down low, don't think it really helped up top, or if it did, it's not enough to really tell. I can really feel the difference as soon as the exhaust cam kicks over (about 5000-5100rpms) and i'd say up to at least 6000-6500 there's still a difference. But way up top it doesn't feel any different. With the 22" long magnaflow resonator and the remus rear section it's still EXTREMELY quiet, the note is a hair different, but not enough to where anyone would even notice. I don't plan to run this all the time, only when i hit the dyno (has an O2 bung for the wideband) and when i hit the track.
Also, on a side note I threw in new plugs - BKR6E's - (in place of the BKR6E-N's) and felt a nice change in throttle response and overall eagerness to rev pretty much throughout the entire rev range. Even though the other plugs still looked good, I guess it was their time to go.... Hopefully my overlooking them (like a dumbass) didn't cost me too much hp on my last dyno. I was really hoping to find a set of BKR6E-N's here in the states, through an importer or anyone else, and i guess i waited for them too and should have been running on a new set of BKR6E's the whole time... DOH!
