Honda people keep bragging how their N/A motors can make 230... 240.. 250+ hp at the wheels and still run on pumped gas and shit... Someone gotta build an SR20 that can do the same!

I guarantee an SR20VE with all the bolt ons could reach well over 200 whp. The SR20DE has little aftermarket support compared to the H22A, etc.

i will put my money on that, the sr20ve will be able too do that, i am not sure, but i think somebody almost got those numbers, but not sure.

how me 5 240whp pumped gas honda engines...there aren't enough and i guarentee maybe 2 are street legal. most of the engines i see are in the 210whp range...

i get tired of hearing se-r guys bragging about how their engines can hold 400 boosted hp on stock internals....its all the same. anyone who brags about it without having done it is living off someone elses achievements. im talking about bragging, like my dad can beat your dad up. its different when another idiot says, those nissan/honda/every makers engines suck, blah blah blah.
if they can make that much na, awesome, but dont pay attention to the idiots with the stock dx's who brag about it. their engine doesnt make crap na, or boosted.

i dunno about honda's my buddy has a fully built crx turbo and didn't hit over 200hp its a si aslo with 10-14psi

so what if some hondas have 250 wheel horspower they have no torque and most are slow as hell my friend has a 97 prelude dyno'd at 200 horse and i still smoke him in my 96 200sx se-r and i haven't even raced him since i put my clutch and exhaust on so im sure he'd get his ass kicked now

I have NEVER seen a Honda with that much horsepower on pump gas...most honda engines make like 160-180at the wheels, and then just strip the hell out of them so they can run low times....IE- B18c5 in a CRX.

I always said the same shit about hondas UNTIL my friend got one. Its a 94 civic coupe. It's NA and is supposed to be putting around 200 hp at the wheels. I won't lie. The damn thing is fast.

Hondas can be quick just like any other car. I just try to remember that there is always someone faster and I try not to put down the people who do try to make their car fast or look good. If you have a DX with an auto. and a huge wing, yes I will laugh at you. A friend of mine had a full int. '94 Civic w/. a LS/VTEC swap and that thing could run 15.2 all day long. I think you should just make your car the way you want it, enjoy it and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The civic that I spoke of has a ls/vtec setup and it runs 8.5 in the 1/8th mile.

I won't diss them because they are very very fast, and some of them are very nice, however... well, that's not the point, i just wish we have some Fast N/A SR20s to run them sometimes hehe.
