This may be the wrong section but I want to know what my turbo buddies have broken not the general SR20 peeps...

Here goes my list:

Broke third gear on my cryoed tranny
Broke ACT 6-puck clutch
Broke axle spline in tranny
Another axle that just went bad
A short somewhere in my tachometer and the rest of the guages that I still haven't found
Have also gone through 3 tires...put the bald ones back on recently
Turbo started smoking(got restrictor)
Car still smokes a little when cold(????)
Random boost leaks everyonce in a while( I know why though)
Car accident(tsuru front end)
5Zigen Muffler fell off(bought Apexi')
Cherrybomb Resonator fell off(ran a straight 3" pipe)
Got nabbed by the CHP for turbo and no seatbelt ($420)
One parking ticket(got removed..allow one per quarter at school)

Here goes my list, keep in mind I drive my car daily and put about 25,000 miles a year:

- Busted my AC line during the Nissan vs. Honda event
- CV boot tore just last week

That's it... no tickets, no boost leaks, no accidents, no vacuum leaks, I've had my 6 puck clutch for 4 years with no problems, I've had my cryoed tranny for over 50,000 hard driven miles. I think you need to get someone else to work on your car KEnley :)

I haven't really broken too much stuff, but i've spent a crap load on other things...

Clogged cat(put test pipe)-$60
Worn out upper strut mount(replace)-$45
Tickets(I've gotten a bunch... there was one nite that i got pulled over twice and got 6 tickets equalling over $500)I got over 20 tickets with my car.
Other than that, my car hasn't let me down too bad. Thats why I'm loving it:D

Just broken axle again and melted front dog bone motor mount. A matter of fact axles are ther only things I have broken in the 7+ months i've been turbo'd. Im even still on the same stock clutch.

I do everything on my car and do it right...its just the way I drive, and mine to is daily...I drive atleast over 100 miles A DAY...except sundays...usually stay home....besides why would I want someone else work on my car...I rather do it myself and learn by making simple mistakes...

I didn't take it to the heart....ok well I did but I'm just indenial about breaking shit myself....I always find someone or something to blame...:(

well I accelerate hard in every gear, and hit 10 psi everywhere I go, but I just SHIFT like a grandma, and try to be easy on my tranny and car in general. I really don't RAG on the car, unless I'm out on the road course (Willow Springs or something).

I think running the Redline ShockProof Gear oil has saved my tranny from grenading many times. Also, be careful on how fast you disengage the clutch with the 6 puck, you really can't be abrupt or you will break ALL SORTS of stuff.

2 c.v. boots, radiator(leaked at top tank), radiator hoses, clutch(car's now on it's 3'rd w/155K miles) That's it i think...put turbo in, but that doesn't count here..i'm about to break a tranny cause I keep hitting the rev limiter multiple times in 1'st cause it's only a split second from when the tires spin to when it hits redline. Where does a peep get that "shock-proof" redline stuff? Sounds good!

You know what...this may be what is causing my tranny problems...I got the Place racing mounts so it didn't come with the dog bone....I think I'm gonna have to go buy one...good thing I got this post started...just to make sure the dog bone is the one under the manifold, on the crossmember right???
