I searched around for awhile and some are saying that the end-all of SR20DE headers is a JDM piece made by Fujitsubo. I contacted JDMspec performance in Elk Grove about it - specifically asking about a SR20DE header. First I was told they can get it ($600). Then he said it's for the VE. So which is it? Does this same header bolt to USDM SR20DE motors? Now I'm confused. If anyone can shed light on this I'd appreciate it.

The Fujitsubo ***-spec header that is highly regarded on this board is the one for the SR20VE. It's the end-all since there is no US spec header that will bolt up to the VE block with the proper ports to match the VE's exhaust ports perfectly without modification. Not to mention it's a full stainless header also. Not sure if they make a header for the DE blocks, but why would one spend the unnecessary extra $$$ to import a header when you have quite a few quality header choices available here already? If you're looking for a nice DE header, I'd recommend the Hotshot 5th gen. Works well according to more than a few forum members.

According to this thread there seem to be many who feel Hotshot's quality is lacking and that their support sucks. There is also mention of a stainless steel Fujitsubo SR20DE header that's supposed to be the shit.

I was wondering when someone was going to start a thread about this. If you find that they make on for the SR20DE I will be bummed that I ordered a Hotshot.

Fujitsuba makes headers for the de as well. The Fujitsuba is nicely made. Impula also makes a even nicer header. Check the links in the VE sticky and you can find the parts listed on the Japanese website.

Well the good news is that Fujitsubo and Impul both manufacture all-stainless headers for the SR20DE. The bad news is manyfold right now so don't be too bummed about your Hotshot just yet, Bullfrg.
1). They're expensive (but we already knew that).
2). They make different models and I can't figure out which one (if any) will bolt up to our USDM engines because even with their websites translated by Babelfish, I can't make much sense of them.
3). Assuming I knew which to order it would take a couple of months to get here.
They look freakin' awesome though:

If anyone knows what the difference is between their models, or, more to the point, which fits USDM motors I'd apreciate the help.

Fujitsubo or other JDM header should bolt on fine, but you will need to make minor modification to make it work (from what i heard). Most of these JDM FWD headers are made for Nissan Primera, but a lot of Lucino (B14) people are using P10 Primera header on B14. From what I read, you need to relocate the O2 sensor to make it work... (Something like that)
Also, those Japanese header will not have slot for EGR tube, so you're gonna have to either lose the EGR system or weld a slot for that on the primary.
It would be nice if I could get the Fujitsubo header. (Impul are good, but way overpriced) These are sooooo much better quality than our favorite US made brand header. I just didn't want to deal with these modifications, importing from Japan, etc... so I had to settle with the US made one.

Is that WHP? $850 is a lot for a header - is that the price shipped, or just the price of the header. How much does the Fujitsubo cost? Is it $600 like the VE header? Does anyone know what kind of hp gains that the Fujitsubo yeilds? Dang that's a lot of questions.:)

Funny you mention it. I just happened to be talking to www.polepositionproducts.com about stainless steel Fujitsubo headers for SR20DE powered vehicles. Although they have Fujitsubo headers for Honda, they said they could get some for Nissan as well.
