: GC Spring Rates

With the purchase of Ground Controls for my 99 SE-L in my future, what would be a good spring rate to go with? I will be using the car as a daily driver, as well as a weekend autocrosser. I have heard everything from 300f/200r, to 325f/450r. What are your opinions?

I'm running 300/200 on my SE and I love it. It rides and handles just like I want. But, I've also heard 325/250 is pretty good too. Just personal preference I guess. Personally, I wouldn't go with anything higher than 350/275 on my daily driver, but then again, I live in Phoenix and there's construction on every damn road here!

With AGX I think Kojima said the rear shocks shouldn't have springs higher than 250. I have the post saved somewhere, but I can't look it up from here.

Yup, I think you're right. I don't think I'd ever go that high anyway http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/biggrin.gif

Tell that to Louis (APEXSER), he has 600 pounds in rear with agx!? He must not have much squating going on at takeoff.

I think he can afford to blow a couple sets of rear AGX. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/smile.gif
