Ok , I have the battery wirring done , but the two plugs under the dash dont fit , they are both male , so I guess I have to cut and splice , thats fine , but what wires go where ?? do I just match them up ??? I looket at srswap.com , but that is for the SOHC , not the DOHC , and its a little different ..... I looked at the wirring scematic and have it kinda figured out ... but with no scematic from the SR20 , I want to be sure ....so who has done it ??? SR20DET into KA24DE DOHC chassis ????

I just cut and pasted this from my hard drive. It might help you, and it might not....

"There are about 12 wires that run from the ECU up into the dash, those will be cut" as in, male to male, so obviously they will be cut.....


The following wires matched up perfectly on both the SR ECU harness and the KA dash harness:

Yellow / Red stripe - Tachometer signal Yellow / Green stripe - Speedometer signal

Orange - Ignition start Black - Ground Blue / Green stripe - AC signal

Blue / Black stripe - Water temp signal

These were cross-verified in the 90 KA FSM and are correct.

On the KA, the rest of the wires (green, gray, light green, purple, red / yellow stripe, gray / yellow stripe) all are listed in my KA FSM as going to the 'check connector'. I'm not sure but I think the rest of the wires on the SR ECU harness (green, green / black stripe, green / red stripe, green / white stripe, orange / black stripe, Red / white stripe) go to the 'check connector' also. I have not hooked these up."

From what Ive read, leave the under dash stock 240sx wires the same, but re-arrange the pins on the silvia harness to match the usdm under dash harness colors.

Yea , I have that from srswap.com .... but the problem is that they are both Male connectors ... cant put two male connectors together ..... I think I have it , I found an S13 wirring daigram online , so I just compared the two , I cut the old connector off the clip , so I will just have to solder the wires in the right places .... We will just have to see what if anything doenst work and go from there !!! Thanks anyways ..!!
