: JWT ECU and SAFC?

I currently have the jwt ecu in my car. Do any of you think that I would benefit from using a SAFC with it? I think that jwt does a good job, but I also know that all cars don't run the same. What do you guys think?

i was wondering the same thing, i have S4 cams, and i was either going to do the JWT ECU or a G20 ECU with an S-AFC, but, i don't have access to a dyno, i'm also not familair with tuning the S-AFC's. I think that JWT does a pretty good job on setting fuel curves for your car. if you have access to a dyno and know how to tune an S-AFC, you can try it, i'm not sure what extra horses you will find, but otherwise i say just stick with the JWT ecu

In my opinion which was formed by some research on this board and by talking with my friend who is into DSM's, you can probably squeeze some extra horsepower out of the car with a SAFC. I have seen quotes as high as 20-30 horse actually, but I'm not sure if that was dyno assisted.
I plan to eventually run both when I get my project together, but since money is an issue I will be running the JWT by itself for awhile.

Can you get numbers for both. One with the ecu, and then tune with the safc? IF so that would answer the question.

Yes, they have to do a base run with the safc set with 0 adjustment so they can se hwere they need to richen or in my case lean it out. I will post the base results with the final tuning with safc results. as soon as i get a chance.
