Aha! You can't knock AMD! ;) I have a dual-processor Athlon MP 2200 sitting here at my house, nearly ready for prime time. I repurposed a Dell Poweredge 1650 (Dual P3 1.1ghz) so I could get the forum moved sooner rather than later. Just curious what this site cost you to run? coach 09-08-2003, 12:01 PM Two CPu isn't always better, but for a webserver with databases like this forum, it is definitly better. I can sure tell! At work, for our simple web and ftp we have single processor servers, but our main server with SQL and user data is a dual processor machine. Gotta love em!
