There is now a modification and review database online. I think this will become a very useful source of product information, but I need everyone's help...

In order for the system to be a success, it needs to be as complete as it can be. You can bitch about a $200 strut tower bar, give a rave review of a big brake kit, or whatever. As usual, please be mature about it. Stuff can still be moderated around if necessary. All registered users can post a review about a product and they can upload a new item into the system that hasn't been put in yet, or both. :) Follow the simple instructions below:

1. Click the "Mod Database" button in the nav bar above or click here (http://www.sr20forum.com/reviews).
2. In the top-right, click the link that says "Upload Products", or if you're lazy and logged into the forum just click here (http://www.sr20forum.com/reviews/uploadproduct.php).

From there you'll be able to fill in the various bits of information. If at all possible, try and include an image. You can usually grab one off a company's website, or provide one of your own. There are a few there already that I put in from Hotshot if you need any ideas. Be sure to include what platforms the product is compatible with (B13/B14/B15/etc).

Notes about submissions

Once you submit an item, you will be presented with the new review form. When uploading a new product, *do not post your review in the first submission*- review the product on the screen that follows your new product upload. For item descriptions, he best thing is to use a paragraph or description from the company website or another site that has the item for sale.
If you are unsure of the price, do not guess. Indicate how much you paid in your review. By doing this, the average price will be calculated and kept updated in real-time.
When indicating what cars it's available for, please use the chassis codes first (B13/B14/B15) and if it's more specific than that use the code + the car (B13 NX2000). This will allow people to search for a specific car and platform.
Please include one or more photos, if possible.

All new additions will be moderated to make sure the information is complete. Thanks for your help.

ARGHGHHHHH. The reviews that were submitted, Aztek you had a few and HotshotSR20 had one as well- were deleted by mistake. I'm so pissed. I have enough info to get them back into the system though so I'll add them back myself. :( Anyway...

Hold that thought- the software literally just stopped working. Bunch of links broke. No data was lost, but I need to get some bugs fixed before it will work again. Grrr

How about... now? :)
Still having some image issues, but keep including images with your reviews, I will have that solved soon, too.

Can I add a picture to a review after I upload a product? I can't find any kind of edit button...

You should be able to do that now.
