So like I've said in other threads, Car dyno'd 221 hp at 8lbs with 370cc injectors. Some are saying that the injectors are maxed out with the 3 bar program I currently have. This is fine.

My question though...will getting S3 or S4 cams do anything for me if I'm already maxed out HP wise?

Also, do I need to have the ECU reprogrammed for the cams or not?

I hear cams make ur car feel like a whole new car. Im running 11 pounds on 370's... but i have a t25.. dunno if that makes a difference. put some pics of ur motor, ur car is bad ass!

i ran HKS cams with an sr20(S-13). bottom end went to sh*t. but top end picked up. so i think it depends on the cam profile.

Well, I just ordered s3 cams and greddy rocker arm stoppers. I guess I'll be able to provide feedback next week sometime.

JGY said that the S3's are more low end but are better through the entire power band. I trust them so I went with that. Hopefully I'll get a few extra ponies out of it.

yups.. s3's are the best for our cars from what i hear. damn man, ur motor is sweet. im loving the heavy duty battery cables and hose clamps!

uh, yeah...you may want to change out those injectors like yesturday. Cams will allow more air into the cylinders..yet you can not provide more fuel because the 370's are close to if not maxed out. More air plus same amount of fuel is not a good thing.

What he said. Sweet ride, but if I were you, I's switch out ot some MSD 50 or 72lb's or maybe even some side feed 550cc injectors at least.

are there bigger injectors that I can install without having to upgrade my Fuel rail? Like 444cc or the sidefeed?

You can get the nismo 555cc or apexi ones. Those are side feed injectors. They will drop right in to the fuel rail you have now.

I was boosting 10 psi on a T25/T28 hybrid all day long with an Air/Fuel of 12:1 across the whole power band.

you dont need a to reprogram the ECU for the s3 or s4's if you already have the JWT turbo program. you could also go to a 4 bar setup and change out the maf( bored, cobra, z32) it may be a little cheaper. all you need is the walbro pump and adjustable FPR. plus the compuiter reprogram, but even if you got bigger injectors you would have to reprogram it...

You could get some used side feed injectors and have them cleaned at rc, and then put them in the stock rail. according to tomei our stock rail as well as the silvia side feed rail is good up to 720cc injectors. Or get a top feed rail, clips resistors and msd's.

Or do some crazy shit like i am doing, get an aic controller tap the manifold for 4 more injectors and run some larger secondary injectors, and kick them in at higher boost levels. Or higher rpm.
