06-07-2001, 10:29 PM hello everyone does any one use a greddy type s blow off valve on ther det. i put one on and my car likes to back fire and i smell gas all the time. does this happen to anyone and how would i fix this mess. Saaby 06-08-2001, 08:49 AM Sounds like injectors are injecting an amount of fuel for an amount of air that doesn't get to them (air goes out through blow off valve). IOW, he is running rich. Did u change out the injectors and put DET's in? or take the injectors out at all? SR20DET20's was back firing like crazy, so we pulled the injectors out and put new orings in.
