Guys,
I installed my 300ZX TT fuel pump yesterday. Everything went fairly smoothly, but now that pump is very loud. I would expect that a higher capacity pump would be a little noisier than the stock one, but this thing makes a lot of noise! I can easily hear it at idle and when driving around at low RPMs. The noise comes through into the cabin, and can be heard from the outside as well, is it normal for this pump to be that loud? I have ordered some generic dynamat in hopes of curing the problem, but the thing is so loud I am not sure this will help much. Let me know if this is unusual.
