I'm in the process of installing my autometer electrical gauge. I'm using the Nissport adapter and plan on remote mounting the sending unit. The instructions state that I need to ground the sending unit "body". OK, so how do I do that? Has anyone else installed it this way? Everthing else is already installed; stock sending unit, turbo oil feed line, and 24" line for the autometer unit.

If the sender is a one wire unit , the engine block is what grounds it, the threads ground the sender , if its a 2 wire , you wil have to place a wire from the ground to a point on the body or engine that is metal ...

I finally figured it out. It's a one wire unit and I remote mounted it on the firewall. I used a hose clamp to secure a ground wire from the body of the unit to a ground on the engine. It's working fine. Now I have to figure out how to get my Greddy EGT to work. I'm having trouble finding a constant 12V source to tap into.
