Hi,
I have a 1991 Nissan pulsar GTiR and recently the clutch let go.
I was wondering if anyone knows any good sites which contain manuals/documentation regarding these cars for a DIY clutch change.
Also would anyone be able to recommend any good garages around auckland that would do the work for a reasonable price. Also any good parts wholesalers.
Thanks for your time...
;)

Go see Auto clutch in Morningside for the parts, they will do you the best clutch for the job you are using it for, then find a nice mechanic, as you have to tdrop the whole engine ( about 4 hours) tot get the box off. Dont forget to bed in the clutch ***, many people burn them in the first week. Are you a member of ggon?

GGON is Gtir Gtr (as in mazda) Owners Network, its not that big, its only a group of people who chat on the net using a yahoo groups post, but there is a lot of knowledge in the group, which mainly caters for gtir's. Go to http://www.ggon.net/
Its pretty easy going, but we get together for cruises and such, did a lazer strike the other day, and there was a cruise on Sat night that I only did part of, but got out onto some nice twisty roads north west of the city later in the night.
Im running fwd, so my clutch choice is a bit different to yours. You could just fit a stocker from repco, but make sure you get the flywheel machined or it will all be a waste of time and will flog out in a week. If you want to get a bit serious, take your old one to auto clutch, they do a lot of race and rally custom made stuff and really know what they are doing.
Later.
