I am getting a new compressor installed, cause my old one leaked, I was told that I also have to replace my dryer, but I heard another opinion that I dont necessaraly have to change it, just looking for some opinions and explanations.

What's the dryer? The part inside the cabin? The
really PITA part to get out from near the heater core?

If you *need* it, I have one. Going to have 2 soon.

Ah-ha! The phallic looking thing that's mounted to
a bracket hanging off the condensor.

if its the original one replace it also be sure to replace the o-rings 2 on the compressor 2 on the dryer 1 on the condenser
