Can I use an abs axle on a non abs car. The reason I'm asking is because I'm getting a thumping sound on acceleration at low rpm's and the boot on my driverside axle is ripped in half and I hope this is what is doing it. I still have my 91 and I was going to put the axle from that on my 93' but the 91 has abs and the 93 doesn't. I don't hear any clicking or anything when I turn I just get a little thump, thump, thump, thump at low speeds. I checked everthing under the car and the torn boot is all I found.

Yes. In fact, I'm running non-abs axles (from Raxles) in my originally equipped ABS SE-R.... but the ABS has been permanently disabled.
