i believe codes were 32 and 32...egr function and knock sensor (respectively)...welll i decided to replace the knock sensor first as well as the electrical connector that goes on the knock sensor...i had to splice the electrical connector wire to attach the new connector...anyway after replacement i reset the ecu and have been driving for the past 2 days waiting for code 32 (egr function) to come up since i havent fixed it yet...but so far no engine codes for past couple of days...can anybody explain that to me?...thanks

While I was working on my car (putting the turbo setup on) I would get some codes, reset the ECU, and they wouldn't come back. If you are doing something major you might be in the same situation.

I just got rid of the EGR all together. If the EGR code comes up again just put a resistor in-line for the EGR and it won't happen after that.
