I was using an MSD coil, but I am reverting back to the stock coil. The coil I got has the harness cut, and about an inch of each wire hanging off the connector. I know one is positive, one is negative. One green wire, one black.

Can anyone tell me which is +, which is -?

I show green with white wire as 12v +, red with green as signal from ECU and black with yellow as ground, but thats at the connector for the distribitor, internal wire colors I couldnt know without testing ....

There are 2 wires coming out of the connector on the coil.

One green with white line
One black with red line

I'm assuming the black with red is the signal ground from ECU.

Green with white is 12v + constant.

i can't remember the colours but the fatter wire is the +'ve and the thinner is the -'ve. Will confirm in a bit when it stops rainning but I am very sure of this.

The fatter wire is the black wire, are you certain?

the green is negative i hooked my tach up too that
and the black is positive.....
