On the driver side axle, there is a metal ring/collar type deal that I guess serves as a shield so debris doesn't go in the tranny. It got bent while the axle was being pulled out. I don't know what to call this piece so I don't know what to look for at part stores. Hopefully, someone who has pulled their axles out knows what I'm talking about. I can't give a better description than that. Thanks

I just notice that I bent mine too. I know exactly what your talking about but I don't know if I should just try to bend it back (I didn't bend it that bad)

its a clip to hold in the axle one day when i was changing my suspension my axle feel out....the reason being it had no clip. The passenger side doesnt need one since it bolts in but the driver side has one to keep the axle in.....sry but i dont no the part number...a new one came with my new axles....

Thanks for the help guys. I ordered one from nissan, I'll post the part number when I get it, just incase anyone else has this problem.
