I want to know peoples opinions on this. I have a 99 se auto http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/frown.gif. I want to know if its worth it to turbo the engine? Either a det swap or fmax or redline kit? I heard bout the det WHere you can just buy the parts and get the same specs out of that. And most people tell me that an auto to manny swap isnt worth it (even though i would do all the labor). Anyone with advice please contribute. If its not worth turbo'in my auto i'll just wait till i get my s13 240

Honestly? Your car is only 2 years old! Wait a while (which is tough when you've got the performance buzz)! I would do simple bolt-ons for now so as to not void your warranty. I would use this car as your daily driver for a while and do the s13 240 with a DET!!! SYLVIA BABY! God I love that woman!

btw, DON'T do the tranny swap. I've heard that auto trannies that are built to handle power are pretty freakin' awesome.

Here's someone that has put in a HS turbo kit in his auto 200sx, very well documented IMO.
