Let me apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, but I had never noticed this.... :D


I have a 1998 se-R, and I never noticed that the red lights above the reverse lights do not light up, I was shocked?

I looked around under the trunk door, and there is no bulb that sits back there to illuminate, only the bulb for the reverse lights.

Am I missing something here? :confused:

Are these just cosmetic?

They are reflectors.

Many cars have them on the stock tails. For example, what you see when driving at night and the reflectors shine on the parked cars on the street (safety).
