I had an unfornate issue with James. I was told he could get a 95 tranny, which he couldn't and instead got me a 91-94. I was fine with that. However, 1 week after paying 800 bucks for tranny+install it had 5th gear popout. I informed James and asked when he could get to it. He said soon... He repeatly put it off and never returned phone calls or emails. I know no warranty is implied BUT a week after?? Come on. I said how bout helping me with other stuff? Brakes or something...anything. Again no reply or return phone call.

I've dealt with him on numerous other occasions and the small transactions went well, this didnt. I wouldn't recommend him anymore.

i talked to james earlier today and he told me his side of the story but i rather not share for it between you and him.

Kyle ya bought a used tranny from a unkown source. I told you that it only had a 30 day warranty. When we worked on your car several times after that you didn't say a word about the tranny. This was like 3 or more months after the swap. I contacted the guy about it and he said no way outta the warranty period. So he's not gonna do shit. I told you this.
Ya seem to forget all the times I worked on your car for free and all the free stuff I let ya take off my cars up at the shop in Denton. Hell I even gave you a fresh 0-2 sensor trying to trouble shoot the bad milage thing. I made 2 or 3 house calls to your place to work on your car again not charging you a dime for my time or the 60 mile round trip to do it. I think I have been more than fair with you. You can flame me all ya want to. Ask most of the guy's around here and my rep is pretty good. I do most things for free just because I like the SE-R and 300Z guys. Sorry about the misunderstanding. I'm gonna consider the mater closed.
