: Anyone in Atl that can help me install suspension
XBL10159 06-03-2004, 02:47 PM Right now I’m riding on a blown shock and in my trunk I have KYB AGX shocks and Tein Springs but I don’t have the $350 to spend on the install ... is there anyone in the Atlanta area that could help me install these? I'll pay whatever i have for the help.
98SERwTricks 06-03-2004, 03:19 PM When do you need to install these - I have done suspension work twice on my 98 - do you have a garage and tools or what?
XBL10159 06-03-2004, 04:03 PM I have everything but a spring compressor. I even have a short write up on how to do it … I would like to get it done as soon as I can. I’m located up by Gwinnett place mall. Thanks

Brian - I didn't know you worked in Norcross! I'm at Jimmy Carter/Holcomb Brigde Road - Technology Park...
XBL10159: I may be able to help you this weekend - I can get some spring compressors or BigB can bring them to Norcross and I can pick them up.
let us know :D

Done. Also, you might wanna get on G20.net and see if you might need some washers to go under the rear strut nuts to reduce "clanking" - I'm not sure if G's have that problem or not when lowered

Not from what i've heard but i will need to trim the bumpstops by like an inch
I'll bring spring compressors to the meet, if you steal em I'll kill you. :D
...no really... i will.....
98SERwTricks 06-04-2004, 12:20 PM Did you get Crim's spring compressors?
XBL10159 06-04-2004, 03:28 PM crap ... i ended up not going to the meet and i'm just now checking the board! I'm sorry crim!
I have to go by his place tonight to steal .. uh... borrow I mean, yea, thats it.. his hoist. I can snag the spring compressors too, so if you want to drive all the way over to Marietta, I'll be working on pulling the DET this weekend to move to the shell. You can do the suspension yourself, I can help out some as well... I had never done anything suspension before, and was able to swap the springs/struts/sway bars from the wreck to the project car. Of course the springs were already installed on the struts for me though!
