I have a weird one for you all. I work with a gentleman who has a MY98 200sx se-r. His check engine light came on a while ago and is still on after resetting it once. He also has a problem filling up at the pump. The pump always shuts off on him. No matter station he goes to, he has to constanly click the pump over and over. I was looking at his fuel area today and he doesn't seem to have a flipper that you push in when you stick the fuel nozzle in. Is there a chance that the flipper fell in? I've never heard of this. Have you? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

check his evap canister to see if the vacum lines there are functioning and check the one way valve between the evap canister and fuel tank to make sure it can open.

the fuel nozzle cut off problem is the same for my 1987 nissan maxima, i found that by putting the nozzle in the entire way causes it to keep clicking off.. but by pulling the nozzle out an inch or two, keeps it from doing that.
