Ok, i'm starting my brake swap right now, but I have a few questions (yes I've aready did my research, consult the FSM and SER.net, here is my question so far.

Is the brake piston suppose to be hollow looking? I can post some picture of it later, but it looks like an aluminium cup thing.

Also, is there some kind of detail right up online on how to do this procedure? The ones on SE-R.net are pretty good but they don't give nearly enough informations as I would like.

The piston is hollow in the center. The brake upgrade is very straight forward, remove old AD18 calipers/rotors, put on new AD22VF calipers/rotors and bleed the lines. Looks like you're in the clear from needing to grind your calipers down any. (I did but I still have stock SE-R 14's. )

Have fun.

Oh and you will have to shave a little off the dust cover, if you dont want to worry about that, just cut the entire thing off.

I just cut off the whole dust shield thing. anyways, the install is a straight forward job; unbolt the old stuff, bolt on the new stuff, bleed the brakes.
