OK i searched and searched and searched and to be honest, i couldn't find a straight answer through the 300 different threads i went through. My g/f just recently purchased a 92 NX and it has 155k on it. She wants to do the swap and is willing to dish the money out for it. I am a mechanic so all labor would be done by me. I am wondering what i need.

Obviously it comes with a AWD tranny so i know i need:

BB Engine
SE-R TRanny
SE-R Clutch
what axles?

I just wanna do a stock swap even with the stock TMIC and i can't find a guide or parts list anywhere, If i missed it PLZ just post the link up.

you have the tranny you need, I would replace the clutch w/ high performance of your choice, I use ACT, and ur axles will work.

You will need the bb engine and the ecu, if you can't get the ecu you can go w/ a jwt tuned ecu, or even do a piggy back set up.

Your harness I think will work, most replace the MAF, fuel pump and exhaust to larger 2.5 - 3"

I'm sure I may have missed a few things but those are the items on my own turbo shopping list. lol

The TPS and water temp sensors will need to be swapped to USDM ones as well. Replace the water pump while the BB engine is on a stand. You don't want to do it while the engine is in the car.

Run the Bluebird ECU *only* with BB MAF and BB O2 sensor (very hard to find).

Run a US ECU with DE MAF and US O2 sensor (obviously you will need the ECU reprogrammed for turbo, 370 injectors, etc. by JWT).

lol, yeah ur existing tranny works only if she bought a nx2000

if she bought a nx2000 the swap is straight forward, the sr20 tranny bolts up except one hole i think, and u will have to have a downpipe of some form, or run open j pipe untill u reach to a muffler shop

i think u could use your US maf , but u need the bb 02 sensor, correct me if i'm wrong, but there was another thread like this in turbo forum and i think they said the US maf is fine.

the question obviously needing to be asked... is it a 1600 or a 2000?

im not sure, but have to swap to the us 02 sensor along with the O2 sensor bushing because the US has a bigger diameter

Actually, I found a O2 sensor that will fit that small bung, it is made by bosch. I don't have the part number but any GOOD parts store that has a Bosch catalog can pin point it. We even showed it to be one for a nissan too!

Well I'm glad that I could read this thread because I am in the middle of this same swap with my nx2000..I didn't know about the water pump sensor, also my motor has a bb O2 sensor still there, I have the bb ECU along with bb wiring harness so what I understand is the US MAF is still ok to use??
