Im donig the swap this weekend and I need to know if I can use my stock harness? What all do i need to make it work with a jdm ecu, Im gettng that with the motor. Or would I just be better off sending my stock ecu to jwt?

First what motor you getting?

If BB DET or just turboing your DE you can use your stock harness & ECU

If GTI-R you will need GTI-R ECU and harness

Stock or JDM ECU will work,but not well you will run pig rich you will need some engine managemnt.

So formulate your questions first i know you have alot and SEARCH FIRST.

Well I have a BB so thank you for that info. But I just saw a good deal on a gti-r front clip so I might just put my BB on ebay and get that. I have a SAFC II also.

gti-r is a much more difficult swap and parts are not easy to find. i think the best source is jgy other than japan.
