Anybody know how wide the stock 200SX SE-R rim width is? Is it 15x6 or 15x6.5? TIA...

15x6

I have seen them listed at 15*5.5. Which seems pretty narrow, but who knows.

Hmmm...Though it would be safe to assume that a 205/50/15 tire would still fit comfortably on this rim, am I right?

They fit perfect. I ran them for quite a while but I eventually switched back to 195-55-15 because it was a smoother ride for me. The 50 series has less cussion against bumps. I have crappy suspention though. Sportlines with wore out factory shocks.

I had originally used my stock B14 SE-R wheels with Kumho Victoracer V700 tires in a 205/50R-15... They now have Bridgestone RE71's in the same size.

I've had a 225-50-15 Kumho V700 on my stock wheels. As for comfort between the 195-55 and the 205-50, the tire design not the sidewall determines the ride quality.

i am not sure on the stock size.. i would say probably 5.5 myself

my integra has 195/60R14 tires and the stock wheels are 14x5.5

i have 14x6s on it now though

for auto-x i was seriously considering a set of toyo proxes RA-1s simply because they are the only ones i could find in the size i wanted: 205/55R14. 205/60R14 is too tall.. even 205/55R14 will lengthen the gears a small bit over 195/60, so 205/60 would be even worse. 205/50R14s would rock.. but i have never seen anyone make that size :(

i would suggest getting aftermarket wheels if you are going to go to a wider tire anyways
the edges of the tread on the wider tire will be pulled up somewhat by the narrower wheel anyway

this is why wheels must be stock size in diameter, offset and width in autocross for stock category (and tires stock-sized)

i can see the advantage of 205/50R15 tires over 195/55R15.. more brands carry the 205/50 size

Wow, was it a pain the a$$ to get those on there? I'd like to go as wide as possible since I don't care about ride quality. :D
