I'm a bit weary that I might not find the correct belt sizes for the Ultra SS pulleys here.

Can I have my UD and WP pulleys lightened and balanced? How much lighter should they be? Any cons to this?

id ont know about lightening thembut you can find the belt sizes on the UR website.

You just need to find a 4 rib belt thats a certain size, which I'm sure other cars will use. That should not be a problem. Plus the UR underdrive pulleys are different diameters, not just lightweight, that has a lot to do with it as well.

i thought courtesyparts.com had the UD belts

I got mine from Courtesy a few months ago and they told me they don't sell the belts with the pullies anymore but they do have the belts in stock.

u can have youre stock alt and ps pump lightened and balanced i have heard of it.

i think the UR water pump pulley is actually larger than the stock one in diameter

U Are Right It Is Larger.they Say On Ur,s Website Most Of The Gains Are From Lightening The Pullies 15% Is From Underdriving

when you get the pullies it has what size to get, also unorthodox has the sizes posted on their website.

Ok it makes sense for the wp pulley to be bigger if the UR pulley is smaller to ensure the wp is still turning at the same ratio....

Doesn't this also apply to the alternator then? Is the alternator belt drive also smaller on the UD pulley?

Ok decided to get the original UR Ultra SS set. Looks like I can find the belts.

Q: Has anyone had any overheating problems etc with these pulleys? On the UR site they say the WP pulley is the Ultra A which is same size and not larger. Makes me worry that the WP won't be turning fast enough as the crank pulley is smaller...? Also I have a biggish sound system.

How much gain would I have from fitting a smaller belt that completely bypasses the AC pump?
