I have removed all my egr junk and was wondering if I could take off the black oil accumulator thing while I was at it, will it hurt anything? As I saw someone had bought a egr pug for the header and was wonder were I could get one of these?

can you remove? sure. Should you remove it? Definately not. It keeps your intake from sucking up oil droplets along with the blowby gasses under the strong vacuum of the motor. If anything leave it and reroute the hoses so that they are more effective. Check it out in this write up. You will only loose a preventative system if you remove it... there is no gain.

In regards to the EGR header plug, check my sig. Or, check with a dealer.

The plug is 14052-21R00 :biggthump

thanks I went to the dealer and they said they didn't have one cause they would never block off an egr tube in service
