Alright, so I know I'm going to have to order these fittings from McMaster-carr, but I need to know what sizes they are ? They being oil inlet/outlet and water fittings..........

I'll be using -3an line.................

thanks!

I suggest you take the turbo with you, and go to Tallahassee Rubber, its right across the street from TCC. They got all sorts of fittings there, so you make sure you get the ones you need. I bought some aeroquip fittings from there, and a steel braided line.

I know where it is and I go there all the time, and they don't carry metric fittings like the ones I'll need.

edit: It's Capital Rubber, not tallahassee rubber ;)

oil inlet on turbo side is 7/16-24 or there is a metric equiv which is impossible to find.

water is 14mm x 1.5mm

I'd prefer to use the exact correct fittings on a turbo that costs so much..........

7/16-24 is 12mm x 1.00 mm

Someone body needs to use the search button! This has been covered thousands of times and is in the FAQ section where people are asking what info they want in it. All the fittings on the turbo itself for water are 14mmx1.5 fittings. Oil inlet on turbo is 7/16x24 IF fitting. Oil outlet on the block is 12mmx1.25 fitting and the water fitting on the block is another 14mmx1.5 fitting. Searchy Searchy

ATP and everyone i know sells the oil inlet as 7/16x24 IF fitting. If they didn't work I would think many many people would have problems by now, lol!

yep thats what I used and it works fine. Threads in with no trouble and doens't leak. The water lines are 14mm 1.5 like everyeone said. The oil drain flange is slightly different but you can buy those from Powertech.

i happened to find a box of metric adapters at Autozone yesterday. there was one single 12mm x 1mm to 1/8NPT converter in the box with a bunch of other metric adapters. just for info. converting to 1/8NPT on a oil line will only create more headaches, not solve them...

I still don't think it is 12mmx1, i think it is 12mmx1.25 thread on that fitting.

resurrecting a really old one, but for the benefit of future searchers, I can confirm it is NOT 12mmx1.25. I tried putting my ATP oil restrictor in the sizer at Lowe's.

It must be 12mmx1
