My hyperco's and agx's are now installed. Tommorow morning I have an apt at Datsun Dynamics (A nissan race shop) for an alignment. I am wondering what I should have it set at. I need something that is easy on the tires.
I know camber is not adjustable, so thats not an issue. As long as I dont have more then 2 or 2.5 degrees negative camber im not going to worry about it. I dont think that 2 degrees should wear the tires to much.
Toe is what im not to sure about. I have read on se-r.net that toe in in the front helps with straight line stability, and toe out helps with turn in. So the question is which one should I go with? I was thinking whichever way I go, 1/16 max on each side.
Negative camber wears the inside of the tire, as does toe out. Toe in wears the outside. Would negative camber with a little bit of toe out kinda even things up or cancel them out at all?
Now for the rear, toe out will help me rotate, toe in will, well, help me not. I really dont want to be surprised with some sudden lift throttle oversteer on the street but I wouldnt mind being able to rotate on some really tight autocross turns. What would 1/32nd of toe out in the rear do? Anything at all? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
