He's gonna have them turn off at 30mph? Maybe for a smic or a tmic would it be effective but i doubt it would do much for a fmic.

The only real benefit for a FMIC is when your stopped in traffic.

but its not like your boosting while your stopped anyway. when you compress air, the molicules are pushed closer together, thus creating friction as they rub together. this is what causes most of the heat in the intake charge anyway, so it should not be a problem when you are not moving.

A FMIC sits close to the radiator and gets heated when no air is blowing through it. Thats the point of these. To keep in temp of the I/C down, thus cooling charge.

Yeah, but aren't the radiator fans going to be pulling air through both the IC and radiator when sitting in traffic? Just a thought...

eh, having separate fans for the IC would be good...especially at the drags while staging....think about it........
