Well next wednesday I am running at the strip for my very first time, I have a 91 classic, cone filter and stripped trunk/rear seats. I am thinking of adjusting timing to 17* as well but my damn tach is not working. Just curious if anyone has any hints or input to help me get every little bit out of my 265K mile classic? I have a good size gash in the flex pipe as well so I'm not sure how much it will take away...? Any hints and comments will be great, I just want to do the best I can

Before you line up, watch how others line up at the tree to get a gist of it. Always listen to the track officials. Leave on the 3rd yellow. Have fun. =)

Just run with one 1/8 tank gas. And play with your tires pressure.

What is a good tire pressure?...I am running stockers with yokohama assoh's(thats what they say, sound funny to me too). I have been gutting everything I can from the rear, even the tire jack and its brace lol. I still have the panels in the front, and carpet so I am not sure else what I can really do without the car looking completely stupid

Don't worry to much about loosing weight, your launch will make the biggest difference
