You guys know what 93-98 Jetta foglights look like, right? I had the idea today to fitting some inside the two small openings in my Stillen front spoiler. If they fit, I still have to find a way to mount them. It shouldnt be too hard. I was going to try to reinstall my original SE-R foglights, but its not worth it. Every bolt that attached them was broken off long ago, plus the lense on one is badly cracked. Why not use Skyline foglights you say? Cause they are expensive and you cant find them in the junk yards here! I am going to get the dimensions and compare them to the Stillen spoiler opening dimensions. I am going to put yellow H3 bulbs in them too. I know, German parts on a Japanese car, whatever. What do you guys think of my idea?

If it works and you like it go for it. I am very satisfied with the stock foglights.
I got a set last year and just put them on last week after I got my car painted.
The new lenses and paint job gave new life to my front end, now I need new headlights:)
r32 im guessing, there fog lights fit on b13's????? hmmm...

As in R32 Skyline, I dont know. No, Im sure they dont fit B13s. But this is about Jetta foglights anyway, I'm afraid you missed something in my post. The dimensions on the Jetta foglights are 4 1/2" L top, 3 3/4" L bottom, 2 3/4" H, and 7" deep. The 7" deep is what may not work.

why not just get a set of Hella Micro DE's
same fogs as the jetta/golf ones but without the OE price or the outer casing
they run about $130 a set

I want to use the foglights off of another car just to keep a factory look. I found the same Jetta foglights that are aftermarket but have yellow lenses, which is exactly the look I want. I am going to integrate the stock wiring harnesses that plug into the factory wiring switch. I am going to have to be a little creative on how to mount them, but the overall dimensions will fit the Stillen spoiler quite nicely. The depth of these aftermarket versions is about 4", not 7" like the OEM VW ones. The height of the lights is just a touch too tall for the opening, nothing an air grinder wont solve. This is going to look very JDM actually, even though the lights are made for a German car.
