Ok heres the compression test results on my 93 SE-R and my 92 NX2000 from the drivers side to the passengers side.

SE-R with 94K:
1. 191 psi
2. 183 psi
3. 187 psi
4. 187 psi

NX2000 with 172K:
1. 186 psi
2. 176 psi
3. 192 psi
4. 195 psi

ok, my question is, which engine is best used for turbo? What would need to be replaced(rod bearings...ect..)

When I looked down the spark plug hole, I coul see black crusty stuff on the pistons, I think. Any help from you turbo monkeys would be appricated!! :D ;)

98 SE-R with 69,000:

195
195
190
195

i have the Tomei cams (SCC cam shootout cams that were in Dave's car) + I/H/ECU

stock bottom end.

as for as which is best for turbo, i think it is mainly consistency between cylinders that is really important.

So even though the NX2000 has better compression on the last 2 cylenders then it may not be better for turbo?? Which cylender is #1 BTW? I've heard that cyl. #3 is the one that goes first in turbo applications...
