Just got off the phone with JWT. They said they set the rev limiter to 7200 for the VE program with stock cams. I was under the impression that it was higher? They said with the SR16VE cams/springs they set it at I think 8000. They said with there springs they will set it at 8600. I am really surprised that they set this low on the VE.

They're just being conservative. Keep in mind that above that, you run the risk of floating a valve w/ the stock VE cams and springs. 8600 will be fun when the time comes.

If I knew they had the higher springs, I would have bought them when I put my motor in. :(

I didn't specify a higher limit when I had mine programmed so I got the crappy low limit :( I liked the limit on my de ecu that I ran for the first 3000 miles better.
