my car started making the familiar rattling noise that was associated with the alternator bolt coming loose again. The noise only seems occurs when I get off the throttle and at idle. It's definitley metal on metal. So I get down there to tighten the alternator bolt and it turns once and it's tight, so that's not the solution. I start looking around and checking bolts on the a/c compressor, header, and fans(just in case). Everything was tight. As I'm getting out from under the car, I notice a bolt on the a/c compressor that's pretty much inaccessible but almost completely out. There's the 4 compressor bracket bolts and then there's this one in the middle of the bracket. I pretty much have to hold it in and tighten it, so I'm pretty sure I'l have to take off the compressor today to tighten it. Has anybody ever had that bolt come loose?

no, i would just take it out and leave it like that, you dont need all 4 bolts, then again, im ghetto as shit.
