My car is over heating because my radiator fan is not being trigger to run..
when my engine is hot, Everything else is fine, i test the fan itself and it works fine too....

So i was wondering if anyone know if there is a sensor that trigger the radiator fan to come on when the engine is hot??

it is just above and to the right of your oil filter. It is the one with 2 wires, the one with 1 wire is for your tep gauge. also if you unplug the one with 2 wires, then it should automatically trip you fans to run all the time when the car is on.

I believe it is triggered by the engine tempertaure sensor (under the left side of the intake manifold) red plug I think... this then tells the ECU what the temperature is, and the ECU triggers the fans to come on!!

and if you leave it unplugged it will make the car run like ass.

Two wires goes to ECU and triggers fan
one wire goes to the temp guage in the dash.

i check it, and it was something to do with my sensor...when i took the plug off, my fan went off as stated above..so its not the wiring.

One more thing, DO i need to drain my coolent out before replacing the sensor?? Or can i just take it off and no coolent will come rushing out??
