: B14 wheels on B13 - bearing problems?

I tried the search...so I know the B14 wheels fit on the B13 and if you run 195/55/15 tires they don't rub and the speedo will still be pretty accurate.

My question is, because of the offset, the B14 wheels will sit out further from the hubs. Has anyone had problems with short wheel bearing life after installing the B14 wheels?

Thanks

No issues with mine - have had on for over 2 years now. Also, regarding the speedo issue, go ahead and run 195/50-15's instead. They're cheaper, and make the speedometer dead nuts accurate - I've validated it running at 30, 50 and 70 with my handheld GPS (less than 1/2mph off)..

Pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem... look at it this way:

200sx se-r (B14) -- 15 x 6 with 38mm offset
sentra se-r (B13) -- 14 x 5.5 with 40mm offset
NX2000 (B13) -- 14 x 6 with 38mm offset

The sentra and NX both share the same suspension and hubs.

SMART question. 195/50, as noted by thumper, will give you speedo accuracy, but 205's will give you a few more mm's sticky rubber - just remember that you'll be running a smidge faster than indicated.
